Been hanging out around town lately still nursing a broken foot back to health. So I’ve been spending some time focusing on some subjects close to home…
The Cathedral of St. Helena is an amazing piece of architecture here in Helena and a prominent landmark that can be seen from downtown.
It was built around the turn of the century and is a beautiful piece of Montana History.
They laid the first cornerstone in 1908 and didn’t finish it’s completion until 1924. It was designed by a Washington D.C Architect, A.O. Von Herbulus and it’s stain glass imported from a Bavarian firm.
Not only is it’s exterior a work of art, but the interior is equally spectacular.
Some very nice photo’s…..thanks for sharing
