Well yet again, another month has gone by without much posting. Time seems to be moving in some sort of weird hyperwarp speed lately. That’s quite all right though because the quicker we get to Spring & Summer, the happier it makes me.
We are shaking off yet another round of late season snow storms and today we had some big flakes falling in Helena all day long. It was some real heavy wet stuff and it will more than likely be gone by tomorrow.
This time of year in Montana seems to be when most photographers start stretching their legs, dusting off their gear, and heading out. I always make it a point to get out as much as possible during winter, but it seems more often than not, I am getting caught up in the office editing photos and preparing for the months to come. Oh well maybe next year. In any case, the return to shooting is much welcomed.

I went out last Sunday near Helena to test out some more landscape Photography with a new Canon 5dII I recently acquired. At 21 megapixels it’s resolution is impressive to say the least. It will be fun to see how it handles once we get in full swing this Spring.

So as the ice continues to thaw, our great Montana landscapes wake up to begin another trudge toward the warmer weather.
Next week, Snow Geese-Freezeout Lake.
